July 4, 2026The Stadium Club Patent Leather Members Only PSA 10 just did something violent — $875 to $2,449 in one auction, 38 bids deep. The regular Patent Leather confirmed around $204 raw the very next day, which means the Members Only premium isn't drifting higher, it's detonating. Die-cut, low-pop, and now a four-figure card in gem. The Finest with Coating #139 also got its first PSA 10 on the books at $202, and Flair Showcase Row 0 raw pushed to $640 — that card refuses to cool off. The correction of the day was brutal but overdue: Collector's Choice Crash the Game Instant Winner had been sitting at $800 raw on stale data, and a real 10-bid auction just reset it to $178. That's not a crash, that's a price finally telling the truth. X-Ponential Power /3,000 quietly climbed from $110 to $150 — the Donruss Preferred serial-numbered cards keep finding new buyers.

The 1997 market is repricing in both directions.

On the flip side, Flair Showcase Diamond Cuts raw climbed from $375 to $475. Correction day for Metal Universe, but Flair Showcase inserts are holding strong.

June 23, 2026Metal Universe Blast Furnace PSA 10 jumped from $350 to $585 — a 67% move at 1:48 Hobby odds. Metal Universe inserts across '97 are heating up fast. Ultra Power Plus PSA 9 sold for $1,009 at auction (29 bids, POP 3) — a card we hadn't even been tracking. The depth of demand in '97 keeps surprising.

June 29, 2026The 1997 market is running on a different engine right now. Flair Showcase Row 0 raw jumped from $355 to $599 — when ungraded copies of a card start approaching $600, the graded population is getting very thin and very competitive. The Metal Universe Magnetic Field had two separate auctions hit $103 raw on the same day, 34 bids combined — the holographic refractor design on this card catches light differently than anything else in the set and collectors are waking up to it. PSA 9 confirmed at $400. The Upper Deck Star Attractions Gold PSA 8 more than doubled from $166 to $350, which is the kind of move that happens when a card has been sitting under the radar for years and one auction triggers the discovery. The Atomic Refractor Preview #BBP2 raw doubled to $300. 1997 is producing more $300-plus raw cards than any other year in the guide right now.

June 22, 2026E-X 2000 Hall or Nothing PSA 9 surged from $375 to $605 at auction with 29 bids — a 61% jump. The die-cut design on this card is iconic and demand is clearly accelerating. SPx Cornerstones of the Game (w/ Bonds) PSA 8 softened from $350 to $300.

June 21, 2026Two monster moves. Finest Refractor #139 raw exploded from $368 to $2,750 at auction — a Silver Embossed Refractor variant that went for 7x the previous price with 17 bids. Metal Universe Mother Lode PSA 8 more than doubled from $870 to $1,943 at auction with 23 bids. The 1:288 odds on Mother Lode are starting to get priced in.
