July 19, 2026A 34-bid auction pushed the Topps Chrome Refractor #321 PSA 10 from $4,150 to $6,223 (up 50%), a new high and the top '98 sale of the day. The base Topps #321 PSA 10 also climbed, from $138 to $216 (up 57%) with 18 bids. Cooling: Finest Centurion /500 raw from $170 to $143 at auction, and Flair Showcase Row 1 #1 raw from $271 to $175 (down 35%). July 14, 2026The Ultra Gold Medallion PSA 9 pushed from $950 to $1,225 (up 29%), though its raw eased from $179 to $160. A PSA 8 Finest Refractor #100 sold for $309 in a 24-bid auction. Topps Lords of the Diamond #LD1 raw ticked up from $35 to $40. Softening: Topps Chrome Flashback Refractor #FB2 raw from $230 to $140 (down 39%), and Metal Universe Hardball Galaxy gave back more of its recent run — raw from $19 to $16 and PSA 8 from $60 to $55 across a stack of sales.
July 12, 2026A PSA 8 Topps Chrome Refractor #321 sold for $1,600, between the raw at $860 and the PSA 9 at $2,500. The Topps Gallery of Heroes #GH1 raw rose from $355 to $550, and Metal Universe Hardball Galaxy PSA 8 climbed from $50 to $60. The base Topps Chrome #321 had a PSA 9 sell at $105. Corrections underneath: Stadium Club Royal Court #1 raw from $104 to $61 at auction, Metal Universe Diamond Heroes raw from $75 to $45 on three sales, and Hardball Galaxy raw from $25 to $19. Added the Pinnacle Performers Big Bang #1 (/2,500) at raw $44.
July 10, 2026A 27-bid auction moved the Finest Non-Protected Refractor PSA 9 from $230 to $609 — closing the gap on its PSA 10 at $1,150. E-X2001 #10 cooled at both ends: PSA 9 from $355 to $338 in a 30-bid auction, raw from $73 to $38 on back-to-back auctions. Zenith Z-Team Gold got its first raw price at $73 after an 18-bid auction, and Metal Universe Hardball Galaxy its first PSA 8 at $50. Finest Centurion /500 raw ticked up from $165 to $170, while Topps Lords of the Diamond raw slipped from $40 to $35 and Pinnacle Epix raw from $63 to $28.
July 8, 2026First PSA 9 data on the Stadium Club Triumvirate Luminescent landed at $1,780, and the Ultra Win Now acetate got its first PSA 9 at $300. Leaf Fractal Materials /250 raw ticked up to $207 at auction with 18 bids, and Metal Universe Universal Language PSA 10 reached a new high at $300. Corrections: Fleer Tradition Zone #7 raw eased from $240 to $203, Finest Centurion raw to $165, and Diamond Heroes raw to $75.
July 4, 2026The Finest Centurion /500 told two stories at once today, and both were corrections. The raw price had been parked at $898 on ancient data — a real sale just dragged it down to $180. Meanwhile the PSA 8 went the other way, climbing from $127 to $214 on two sales in a single day. Translation: the old raw number was fantasy, and the graded market is where the real demand lives. The Bowman Chrome Refractor #33 PSA 9 jumped from $300 to $425 — '98 Bowman Chrome keeps tracking upward grade by grade. And the Circa Thunder Rave Reviews, a 1:288 die-cut that almost never surfaces raw, finally landed its first ungraded price: $515 at auction with 25 bids. Even the base is moving — Metal Universe #161 PSA 9 ticked up to $212. The only cooler note: the Mirror Image Fusion Refractor /100 PSA 9 eased from $2,200 to $2,048, which on a /100 card is less a decline than a rounding error.
June 29, 2026The Leaf Rookies & Stars Longevity /50 PSA 9 sat at null for months because almost nothing trades. Only 50 copies exist. When a PSA 9 finally surfaced at $1,900, the math made immediate sense — PSA 8 was already at $1,009, so the 9 at $1,900 is actually a tight grade premium for a card this scarce. That's how thinly-held cards work: the first sale in months sets the new benchmark. Elsewhere, the Metal Universe Diamond Heroes raw continues grinding — 24 bids at $85 is real demand, not a one-off. Added two new entries today: SPx Finite Radiance /1000 PSA 8 at $80, and Topps Tek Pattern 29 PSA 9 at $132, a card that barely comes up because most collectors don't realize Tek had different patterns that are worth dramatically different amounts.
June 27, 2026Ultra Diamond Immortals PSA 9 sold for $2,700 at auction with 38 bids — first PSA 9 data and a monster number. Raw also surged from $514 to $900. Platinum Portraits raw up from $213 to $260. Hardball Galaxy raw climbed from $19 to $30. Filled in Diamond Heroes raw at $70, Mystery Finest Bordered Refractor raw at $120, Milestone Refractor PSA 8 at $106, and Masterstrokes raw at $41. Lots of blanks filled today — the collection tracker is getting more useful by the hour.
June 25, 2026Finest Centurion (/500) raw landed at $898 at auction with 27 bids — first raw data on this card. Diamond Heroes PSA 9 ticked up from $450 to $465. Metal Universe Titanium raw eased from $384 to $320.
June 24, 2026Active sales but prices held — All-Galactic Team PSA 8 confirmed at $1,500 and Diamond Heroes PSA 9 at $450. The Crusade Red aftershock has settled.
June 23, 2026Donruss Crusade Red (/25) PSA 8 sold for $32,433 at auction with 52 bids. That's now the most expensive card in this entire guide — 25 copies exist on earth. Added to the database today. All-Galactic Team PSA 8 surged again from $830 to $1,500 — this card has moved from $750 to $1,500 in three days. Diamond Heroes PSA 9 up from $375 to $450. Fleer Tradition Zone PSA 8 up from $250 to $288. 1998 Metal Universe is the hottest corner of the Griffey market right now.
June 22, 2026Metal Universe Hardball Galaxy filled in PSA 9 at $200 — a sci-fi design that's becoming increasingly collectible. The rest of '98 held steady today.
June 21, 2026Metal Universe All-Galactic Team PSA 8 moved from $750 to $830. At 1:192 packs, this insert continues to climb. The rest of '98 held steady — Donruss Elite Prime Numbers had a PSA 9 sell at $335 but with only 4 bids and potential variant confusion (#1B vs die-cut), leaving the existing $800 in place for now.
